TRAINFLOW FASTCLOCK
Make Time Fly With FastClock! |
Faster-than-normal clocks
are useful in compressing time and space - for example in wargaming, or on model railways, where stations are much closer
than in the real world, and services are far more intensive.Fastclock is actually a set of three synchronised clocks, and you display the one you currently need, but can switch between them with a button-click. This one is Little Tom - the middle-sized clock which is also the control clock.
|
Three Clock Sizes But while Little Tom is
a clear and useful size, you may not have space for it on your screen. That's when Tiny Tim comes in useful. You can park it
down in a corner of your screen where the space taken is minimal, yet the time remains visible. On the other hand, you may want a clock visible at a distance - e.g. across a club room so that everyone can see it. Below, we see Big Ben (the other views are normal size, but we've had to reduce this one - it normally fills most of the screen).
Eleven Clock Speeds!

There are also two faster testing speeds which were useful in developing the clock and have been kept in case you choose to race forward to a new time, or find an amusement for them such as playing timed games. Fast Check - normal x120 = 1 minute in 0.5 seconds ~ and! ~ Super Fast - normal x2000 = 1 hour in 3 seconds Fastclock's Other Great Features 12 or 24-hour clock display Freeze the clock whenever you need to Change speeds in a second Set a standard start time for each operating session, such as 6.00 a.m. Remember the time when last closed down, so you can continue an interrupted session Choose font faces in BigBen and Little Tom Choose font colours in Big Ben and Little TomYou can use any font and colour available on your machine, and vary the font size to fit the clock face.
